The Artist
Tom Alexis Robertwas born in St-Nazaire in 1992.
"Even as a child, I marveled at all forms of art, architecture, cinema, plastic arts and so many others. A whole condensed creation that awakens beauty and the imagination."
He discovered aluminum wire by chance and created "Indian Head" in 2012. It was not until 2018 that he started as a sculptor and foundedArt and Matter.
Evolving through this company, he shapes works in aluminum wire embellished with noble materials to further sublimate his art and offer a colorful visual experience.
The volume of his works and the details therein added to sumptuous colors and the use of metals and precious stones within them confer a strong feeling of preciousness and uniqueness to his work.
